The ''last'' run of The Fast & Furious - by Bernardo Bastos

A portion of the cast from the first "Fast and Furious" film was released in 2001 and is still present in the story.

The plot's trajectory up until this week's release of "Fast and Furious 10" in theaters follows the formula already set by the franchise, offering plenty of action and speed. However, as actor Vin Diesel himself notes in interviews, the idea was to go beyond the scenes and also reinforce the legacy of the "family Fast and Furious."

Numerous characters appeared during the course of the movies, but actresses Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Toretto) and Jordana Brewster (Mia Toretto) gained more prominence and are now the only ones who have remained since the first releases, reminding viewers of the past, along with Diesel. Some characters from the previous films in the franchise, including Tyrese Gibson and Charlize Theron, make a comeback in this new plot. I believe that actor Jason Momoa (from "Aquaman"), who portrays the best villain in the trilogy, and actress Brie Larson (from "Captain Marvel") were among the other well-known actors invited to join the ensemble.

Like every other film in the series, "Fast and Furious 5: Operation Rio" is a prerequisite to comprehend the tenth movie's premise, but you also need to be somewhat familiar with the previous films. This is due to the fact that the new movie revisits and rewrites a portion of this tale, introducing Momoa, the villain's son from the fifth movie, who naturally shows up wanting retribution.

The 2013 passing of actor Paul Walker was a significant element in this tale. The actor, who portrayed a protagonist, was involved in an automobile accident during the seventh installment of the franchise. Meadow Walker, his daughter, made a special appearance as a member of the cast in this new movie.

The movie is nearing its conclusion after a history spanning over twenty years. Or, it seems to be, anyhow. Vin Diesel claims that the tenth feature marks the "beginning of the end." The actor hinted in an interview that the franchise's end would be divided into two further movies, although Universal Pictures has not yet verified this theory.
